Your financial gifts can be:

- Mailed to the church office (6595 Cascade Rd. SE; Grand Rapids, MI 49546)
- Given during in-person worship on Sunday mornings
We continue to be blessed by the financial generosity of our congregation. We look forward to what the last quarter of 2026 holds and pray for continued faithful financial support of the mission and ministry work of Thornapple.

- Thornapple 101 | Sunday, Nov. 1, 11am-12:30pm | This 90-minutes class is for anyone interested in learning more about Thornapple and our denomination and exploring membership in the church. Childcare available and light snacks provided. Sign up HERE.
- Prayer Gathering | Monday, Nov. 2 at 7pm in the Sanctuary | Long time pray-ers and those who are new to prayer are invited to a guided prayer gathering on the eve of the midterm elections. No one will have to pray aloud. Join us in person for an hour of prayer to direct our hearts and minds to God.
- Men's Breakfast | Saturday, Nov. 14 @ 8:30am | Food and fellowship with speaker Pastor Dane. Sign up HERE.
- New-B-Q | Sunday, Nov. 15, following worship | Any individuals or families who have started calling Thornapple their church home in the last 12 months is invited to join staff and elders for lunch. Learn more and RSVP HERE.
- Annual Thanksgiving Family Worship and Pie Social | Sunday, Nov. 22 at 6pm | Childcare will be provided for children up to age 3 during the services. We will be collecting Covenant World Relief Soup Cans during the offering. Join us afterwards in the Community Center for fellowship and pie! Anyone interested in making (or purchasing) pies for this gathering should sign up HERE.

Nursery (birth to 3-years-old) and Kingdom Kids (4-years-old to 6th grade) | Everyone checks in the middle Lobby by Door B; nursery age children can be brought downstairs before worship. Kids start in worship with families until they are dismissed around 10:20. Parents can pick up children in the Lower Level following worship. The third Sundays of the month, kids return for communion (after the sermon).
Middle School Ignite (7th-8th) | Sunday mornings, start in worship with families and get dismissed to go downstairs for class. 3rd Sundays of each month, no class & stay in worship for service.
HS Huddle (9th-12th) | Sundays, 6:30-8:30pm
Pine Rest Church Assistance Program
Complimentary counseling (and other programs – just say “I have a CAP with Thornapple Covenant Church” when you call to make an appointment) for you and your family and access to a virtual library of mental health resources (use the password “Thornapple” when prompted). Learn more HERE.

Going through a crisis or having a difficult time? Maybe you could benefit from receiving care in a one-on-one partnership with a trained Stephen Minister. Contact Lynne McLaughlin

Making a Difference
- ICCF House Renovation Help | We are looking for help on Tuesdays and Thursdays any time 9am-3pm and on select Saturdays, 9am-Noon. Even if you can only spare an hour or two, we would love your help. Skilled volunteer leads and an ICCF project manager will be at the house to provide direction. Please contact Doug Parker (720.841.8581) or Sheryl Baas (616.901.0052 or sbaas@iccf.org), to join the team making this house a home.
- Sunday Morning Coffee Makers Needed | Can you measure and grind beans and put a lid on a coffee carafe? Then you can help with Sunday morning coffee service. We're looking for some additional volunteers to help make and serve coffee on Sunday mornings. Commitment: Once a month, 8:30am through the start of worship; no clean up needed; training provided. Contact Kimberly Korpak to be added to the crew.
- Hearts for Sewing | The group meets Noon-3pm the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month. The sewing group is collecting donations of 100% cotton flannel fabric, or monetary donations for us to purchase these supplies. All donations can be brought to the church office or you can contact Diane Kunkler for more information. Thanks to all who have donated.
- Love hanging out with babies/toddlers? Children’s Ministry could use your help as a Nursery volunteer on Sunday mornings. Please contact Lisa Udell if you are able to help and she we get you on the schedule!
